Common questions

What to expect

Do I need experience?

Are kids welcome?

No prior experience is needed. We provide all necessary tools, gloves, and hands-on training on-site before we begin.

Yes, our work parties are family-friendly. Volunteers under sixteen must be accompanied by a guardian to help plant native canopy.

What should I bring?

What about bad weather?

Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots, and clothes you don't mind getting muddy. Bring a water bottle; we provide snacks and water refills.

We work rain or shine under Washington's overcast skies. We only cancel in extreme conditions like high winds or active lightning.
